Locus likes me

Two good reviews in the current issue of Locus, both for "Public Safety." Points to Nick Gevers for spotting exactly where I changed history, qand for summarizing the story better than I ever could; he calls it "a sardonic counterfactual." Rich Horton calls it "the other prize story" in the March Asimov's (Jim Grimsley's "The Sanguine" being the first and calls it "a fascinating and original alternate history... [with] an interesting plot and main character. Very nice."
