Rob Sawyer is a classy guy

I've mentioned elsewhere that "Lifebuoy," available right now in the Winter 2006 issue of On Spec, was workshopped at the University of Toronto Summer 2005 SFF writing workshopped, which was led by Rob Sawyer. Well, despite his extremely busy schedule -- just reading his blog tires me out -- Rob found time to send me an email to congratulate me on its publication.
