When I do readings, I usually like to do a story that's short of enough for me to read the whole thing. The problem with that is that I only have so many stories that are the right length for a 20-30 minute reading slot, and it leaves out a lot of my favourites. That's why I was delighted when Nicola Seaton-Clark contacted me about doing a podcast of "Public Safety."
