The honorable gentleman

This is how pathetic I am: I managed to wait just two days before going to the bookstrore to see if I had received any Honorable Mentions in this years Year's Best Science Fiction. Luckily my (im)patience was rewarded: both "Irregular Verbs" and "Outside Chance" made the list, so I'm pretty happy. (I'm note sure if Gardner Dozois would have seen "Heroic Measures" in time to consider it; find out next year, I guess.)
