I'm working on making the writing in the book I'm working on now more visual, so I decided to do some sketching while I was in Japan this summer. With that abject excuse, here are some of the better ones... all but one are from Fukuoka, where I spent the first week. The first is of the gateway to Fukuoka Castle.
